The Half Moon and Carluccios

Today gatlin played his first real gig in London at the Half Moon and it was GREAT! here are a few photos from the show...videos will be posted soon!
Also, we were on the quest to find Taco's favorite coffee in the whole world and we finally found it at... Carluccios.

This is Sue Ray... she is from Australia and she is fantastic! check her out for sure. She played right after Gatlin.

Music Finally!

Tonight Gatlin got to play at an open mic! It was at a cool little pub called The Stage Door. It was alot of fun and we met some cool people. We even met a girl that was playing there that was from the states.

London day 2

Today we went to a market which was cool. There were tons of people and some pretty sweet booths. Can I just tell you that I love cheese...and there were so many cheese samples...it was GREAT. We also went and saw the castle and walked across London bridge.
We thought that Gatlin was going to get to play at an open mic, but there was some confussion about which night it was on, so instead we ended up just watching some guys play. It was kind of disappointing, but we got to meet some really cool people. Sam, who is a musician, and his girlfriend Charlene sat next to us at the pub and they were awesome! They invited us over for tea and biscuits later in the week so hopefully we will get to hang out with them again.

Gatlin walked off to go find some Dr.Pepper and was gone for a while. I started to get a little worried because i couldn't find him, and then when i did he had ice cream :) of course.

LONDON!

Today was our first full day here, which wasn't incredibly eventful, but it was very nice.

Gatlin

This was a little old fashioned book binding place and i LOVED it. I'm pretty sure if i ever lived here i would go aply there just because it was so nice.

This was my lovely dinner :) it was a lamb and mint pie and it was sooo goood!

And of course we had to end our night with a little music :) gatlin wasn't playing anywhere tonight so we went and saw a few bands play at The Troubadour. This was a band called Family and they were pretty great, so check them out to...but i'm not sure where to tell you to find them
anyways, that was our first full day here.... we're super excited about things to come, so we'll keep you updated!

Workspace

I saw on twitter that one of my friends was asking people to send photos of their workspace today, so i thought i would just do a little post on it :)
Some of you may know that I have recently started a new project www.AllTheBrighter.etsy.com
so thats what I was working on in these photos. Each time a person orders something I write out and paint a little blessing and send it with their item, so thats what  I was doing and then I decided to paint a little for myself too.  I will probably be posting some photos of things on my etsy sight on here soon.
